I would just like to say that i enjoyed the flight tremedously. We had amazing weather and Tracy was willing to answer any questions we had, though I think that she was concerned that we were so quite. But the reason for this is that we were taking it all in and enjoying the freedom and scenery. Seeing all the balloons go up at the same time was great. To see the Magaliesburg and Joburg city outline from this view is something that is truly magical.

You may remember the 4 late bookings who turned up one Sunday a couple of weeks ago! I promised to send a few pictures from the flight, particularly the microlight. Thanks for a very enjoyable flight and a very gentle landing! As a PPL I fail to understand how something without wings and no engine can possibly fly of course, but it was a great experience. Hope we'll meet again!

Andre & I would just like to let you know that we had a fantastic balloon ride on Sunday. It was really amazing. But most importantly, the whole set up was so professional. Everything went smoothly, and the breakfast was delicious! We really enjoyed ourselves, and the staff must be complimented for the absolutely professional set up.

What a wonderful way to celebrate Alec’s 90th Birthday with the Balloon flight early this morning! It was indeed reassuring to know that a “Robb” was in control! We loved the excitement of doing something completely off the wall – the chill of the predawn air, the nervous trippers making feeble jokes, the super efficient team unrolling the huge limp balloon which looked the most unlikely of carriers for 13 shaky geriatrics!Once again, many thanks for looking after us and dining and wining us (champagne) so generously.

Just a quick note to let you know that we got our long awaited balloon trip on Sunday finally. This has been the longest running birthday in history, and we certainly ended it on a high! All the months of waiting were well worthwhile as we discovered to our delight. As expected, there is nothing as peaceful, relaxing and at the same time exhilarating as floating above the fields in a basket. With Eugene as our pilot, we had no jitters or worries at all, and felt right at home up there in the beautiful blue Magaliesburg morning, watching the mists over the Hartebeespoort Dam and the changing colours in the mountains around us. Delightful, unforgettable, but too short, of course! Thanks for your help in getting it organised, and we will certainly be recommending ONLY Bill Harrops ballooning to any interested clients/friends/family!

Wow, what an experience. From arriving at Riverbend Cottage to the trip - everything was just so special. We were so spoilt at Riverbend, it felt more like visiting an Aunt & Uncle on their farm. Never before have we felt so welcome. The food were special and Top notch, the accommodation was just perfect, we even saw the "Nag apies". The Balloon ride was so much fun with Sam keeping us informed and entertained.I'm sure he is the best Balloon pilot in the world. His landing was perfect! We would love to do it again, this time in summer, just to experience a beautiful green valley instead of a winter veldt. Thanks you so much. Please let all parties concerned know that we are just so impressed with the quality of service!

I did so enjoy the trip on Saturday.I feel that I have experienced some of the thrill of flight captured in this famous and wonderful poem. We got there VERY early and I said it was because I had received an e-mail saying we must be there at 5 for 5.30. I must have dreamed that because I went later and rechecked to see that your e-mail said 6.30. In the end we had an AMAZING day. We have a few nice photies of the other balloon.

Thank you for the wonderful experience .... I am very scared of heights, and was extremely nervous throughout the flight, however, it was an amazing experience and I would recommend it to anyone. The views, memories and photos are trully breathtaking. I woke Michelle up very early in the morning. She was a bit confused why I want to go this early on our holiday. I told her we had to drive very far, but will stop to meet some of my friends. She did not suspect a thing, not even as we took the turn off at Skeerpoort and to the Balloon Safari field. (Under the impression we going to pick-up some friends of mine). Only after we had the nicest cup of hot chocolate for the cold and standing around the bush fire, she saw the balloons. She looked at me with this “surprise of a lifetime look” on her face and said, “Is it for us?” From that moment it was just awesome, seeing the balloons going up one after the other. The experience of the flight was incredible and Bill was an excellent pilot and commentator. We took some special and memorable photos during our flight. During flight I’ve heard Bill announce that we entered into the 1km height kiss club and who wants to join the club. Well, I was the first to give Michelle a memorable kiss. The hour flight was just unbelievable to describe in words. Bill and the ground crew handled the landing in an unbelievable way and put us down so softly that we did not even know that we were on the ground. It was an experience of a lifetime and the two of us will never forget the Balloon trip. After landing we had some champagne to celebrate, while the ground crew packed-up the balloon. During this time there was just laughter around and happy moments about the flight and the awesome experience. We took a bus ride back to the site. On arrival, we were directed to the special arranged table just for the two of us nearby a small dam. We had the nicest breakfast and after breakfast, I asked Michelle to be my wife. Michelle was so surprised and happy about the whole thing. The balloon safari made it so much more romantic and a special day. Of cause she said yes and the two of us are on cloud number 9 and very, very happy. So, from the two of us, we just want to say, THANKS very much to everyone who made hour day so awesome and special. We enjoyed it very much and appreciate all you have done for us. We will do it again in the future!
